Good News Rescue Mission 2023 Toy Drive

12/13/2023 (Permalink)

A car trunk full of toys for the toy drive Toys being purchased for a local Christmas toy drive here in Redding, CA.

When we heard the Good News Rescue Mission was short on toys for their upcoming toy drive, we were excited to be able to jump in and help!

Our Marketing Department went right to work the next morning filling a cart with all sorts of toys for boys and girls ages 0-12 years.

That afternoon, they were able to deliver all they had purchased to the Good News Rescue Mission here in Redding, CA.  This organization has been serving those in need in our community for decades.  We were so grateful for the opportunity to participate in helping them make Christmas special for some of our local children.

It truly is more blessed to give than to receive.

Back to School Let's Keep On Learning

 Last of summer days

For many families, August is full of those final summer activities and our minds start to shift to the upcoming new school year.  Backpacks will  be filled with school supplies, lunches will be packed and evenings grilling burgers around the pool will soon be exchanged for homework hour.

Here at SERVPRO South Shasta, we pray for a safe and great school year for all our local students and their families.  Talking to your child about rules for safety at home and at school can help prevent accidents from happening.

Sometimes though, things happen out of our control and being prepared with the knowledge to make right decisions in these times can help keep everyone safe.

Ready Kids offers tools and information to help before, during and after a disaster.

The Disaster Master game is a fun online game for children to play that teaches them skills and gives them the knowledge to help keep safe in the event of an emergency.

We at SERVPRO South Shasta are always here to help our local families, schools, and businesses when unseen disasters strike.

Wishing the families in our community a great 2023-2024 school year!
