SERVPRO of South Shasta County was called to assist with this vehicle into structure impact damage.  Upon arrival the first concern was structural integrity and the safety of customer as well as ourselves.  Secured structure, then began to help customer safely sort and inventory their personal property that was contaminated with tiny glass slivers and all other personal property items were cleaned and packed out back to our warehouse to allow structural repair.

Mold found along the backing and perimeter of the cabinetry and on the kitchen walls. Granite countertops were suspended and salvaged; unaffected countertop was isolated from the affected mold work area. In this local Redding business, a severe weather storm had passed through town causing flooding in several homes and business’.  The storm drains had backed up causing dirty water and debris to affect this customers location. We were called to help with this claim. This photo was taken following a water loss that occurred in a Redding home.  The room shown is the kitchen which the customer had much concern considering they had just purchased all new appliances.  Understanding the customers concern, our Crew Chief Cody Williams made sure to pay extra careful attention to this room.  This included closing the door to this room making it a smaller space for the equipment to pull moisture from while other equipment had been set up outside of the room for the remaining affected areas that the customer did not have quite as much concern about.  In addition, Cody preformed daily monitors to ensure all the equipment was functioning properly and that the equipment was not making the room too hot which could be harmful to the appliances.
