Common Causes For Bathroom Floods

It is not uncommon for plumbing to get occasionally backed up. However, nobody wants to come home to a flooded bathroom, hallway, bedroom or living room because of a flood in the bathroom.
Common causes for bathroom floods are
- Human error. Sometimes distractions cause us to forget to turn off the bathroom faucet or bath tub. It can be as simple as a knock at the door and OOPS!
- Clogged toilets can cause water to back up and over flow the toilet. Sometimes waste water with feces and toilet paper may flood into the bathroom.
- Broken toilet supply line or loose toilet supply line. Be sure your supply line fits properly and secure.
- Broken pipe under the sink. This can more often than people think.
- Hair or other debris caught in the drain. Animal and human hair can clog your drains and toilets.
