Damage to Cieling

This water damaged ceiling in Shingletown, was the result of a damaged roof. Homeowner was out of town when rain was coming into his home from his roof. As the homeowner arrived they noticed the extensive damages that was caused. You can see from the pictures, the ceiling had collapsed because the insulation was too heavy for the drywall. SERVPRO of South Shasta arrived at the home and immediately started working on the damaged area and making it safe for the homeowner. South Shasta techs removed drywall and insulation. The home owner was impressed we responded as fast as we did. Our customer was happy with the results of our work. Open 24/7 530-241-2424

Water Damage Shasta County

Water damage occurred at this Shasta County business when a water pipe leak from within the wall. The water damage was so bad to the walls and ceiling that we had to tear them out and dispose of the materials. This gave us access to the wooden supports and studs which were water soaked and needed drying. We had to replace all the molding. We used commercial air movers and dehumidifiers to finish the drying process before beginning the construction phase of the project. Equipment Set-up

This photo was taken following a water loss that occurred in a Redding home.  The room shown is the kitchen which the customer had much concern considering they had just purchased all new appliances.  Understanding the customers concern, our Crew Chief Cody Williams made sure to pay extra careful attention to this room.  This included closing the door to this room making it a smaller space for the equipment to pull moisture from while other equipment had been set up outside of the room for the remaining affected areas that the customer did not have quite as much concern about.  In addition, Cody preformed daily monitors to ensure all the equipment was functioning properly and that the equipment was not making the room too hot which could be harmful to the appliances.

Injected Drying

To eliminate the need to remove the entire ceiling, which was directly above the bathroom.  We used the equipment in this picture.  This equipment is called Injected drying system it allows drying of a home or business with out demolition.
